New Delhi [India], January 04: Dr. Harish Verma, an Indian-origin Canadian Ayurvedic doctor and Ayurvedacharya, will participate in the event Aryucon 2025, scheduled for January 12 in Shrirampur, district Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. During his 30-minute speech at the event, he will provide detailed insights on the topic “How Indian Ayurvedic practitioners can practice Ayurveda abroad.” Dr. Verma emphasized the need for a nationwide awareness campaign to create opportunities for Ayurvedic doctors overseas, enabling them to compete with practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine globally.

Dr. Verma further informed that Parul University and the Canadian College of Ayurveda and Yoga have collaborated to offer a certificate course in Ayurvedic Gastroenterology. This course will provide comprehensive knowledge and training on Ayurvedic treatments for complex gastrointestinal diseases such as Ulcerative Colitis, Gastritis, Peptic Ulcers, and more.

Additionally, Dr. Verma announced that the Canadian company, West Ayurveda Limited, is planning to open Ayurvedic Gastrointestinal Clinics across India. This initiative will create new employment opportunities for Ayurvedic practitioners in the country.
