Google Upgrades AI Mode in Google Chrome with Smarter, Context-Aware Search
Upgrades to Google Chrome's AI Mode have been announced. This will allow users to interact side-by-side with web pages and AI-generated responses. Let's find out the details.
The new developments to Google Chrome’s AI Mode have been rolled out by Google this past Thursday. These updates intend to improve searches with increased fluidity and contextual awareness. Google has made efforts to blend searching and browsing, enabling users to search while engaging with website content and AI-powered responses simultaneously. This will allow AI Mode to access multiple data points for enhanced accuracy.
According to a blog entry published by Google, laptop and desktop users can open up web pages alongside the search bar, allowing them to browse the webpage and ask further questions while retaining context.
For example, if you're searching for a product like a coffee maker, you can open the retailer's website on one side and simultaneously ask AI Mode questions about its maintenance or performance. The tech giant says the system uses both on-page context and broad web data to generate answers, providing a better research experience on the web.
