Fake ‘Himalaya Tour’ Offer Cheats Devotee; Authorities Urge Caution for Char Dham Yatra
A woman from Thane was duped of Rs. 54,000 in the name of booking a helicopter for Kedarnath and Badrinath. She made an advance payment through an offer found on Instagram, but the booking failed, and she never received a refund.

One of the cases includes a young lady from Thane who lost Rs. 54,000 after she booked her flights to the places on the internet. According to PTI, a 34-year-old Thane resident said in her police complaint that she was recently looking for air travel to Kedarnath.
She was offered a service for a ride through an Instagram account. The moment she made the call, she was asked to pay 50 percent of the total airfare amount in advance.
