Addressing the 19th EV Expo 2023, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has expressed the possibility of the EV sector growing rapidly in the coming years. He said that by 2030 there will be more than one crore EV vehicles across the country.
Gadkari said that according to India's EV database, at present 34.54 lakh EV vehicles are registered and this number is increasing rapidly.
