Buying Volkswagen Virtus with ₹2 Lakh Down Payment? Here’s Your Monthly EMI
Car Finance Plan: Volkswagen offers the Volkswagen Virtus as a mid-size sedan. If you're planning to buy the base variant of this car, how much EMI can you pay each month after making a down payment of ₹2 lakh? Let's find out.
Volkswagen, one of India's top automobile manufacturers, has put its Virtus up for sale in India. If you make an upfront payment of Rs 2 lakh to buy the base variant of this mid-size sedan, what would be the amount of EMI that you would be required to pay every month?
Volkswagen is offering the Comfortline as the base model of the Virtus. The company is selling the base model of the mid-size sedan at an ex-showroom price of ₹10.50 lakh. If the car is bought in Delhi, the buyer will have to pay the ex-showroom price of ₹10.50 lakh, along with the registration and insurance charges. The car will attract registration tax of around ₹1.05 lakh and insurance charges of around ₹45,000. In addition to this, the buyer will have to pay around ₹10,000 as TCS charges. This brings the on-road price in Delhi to ₹12.10 lakh.
If you purchase the Volkswagen Virtus' base variant, the Comfortline, the bank will finance the ex-showroom price. After making a down payment of ₹2 lakh, you will have to finance approximately ₹10.10 lakh from the bank. If the bank lends you ₹10.10 lakh for seven years at 9% interest, you will have to pay a monthly EMI of only ₹16,251 for the next seven years.
