On Sunday, he declared that the live broadcast of the inauguration of the Ram temple and Ram Lala's Pran Pratistha programme, scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya, had been prohibited by the government. putting a clipping from a Tamil newspaper on social media

He further said, “There are more than 200 temples of Shri Ram in TN. No puja/bhajan/prasadam/annadanam is allowed in the name of Shri Ram in HR&CE-managed temples. Police are also stopping privately run temples from organizing programs. They are threatening the organizers that they will demolish the pandal. “Strongly condemn this anti-Hindu, hateful action.”

At the same time, Tamil Nadu's Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister PK Shekhar Babu has condemned the allegations. He said, 'I strongly condemn the spreading of false information in an attempt to divert people's attention from the DMK youth conference in Salem. The Department of Hindu Religion and Charitable Endowments has not imposed any restrictions on the freedom of devotees to offer food, perform puja in the name of Sri Ram or distribute prasad in temples in Tamil Nadu.
