Before the five-Test series against India that begins in Perth on November 22, Australian batsman Travis Head will spend time with his family and will not play in the limited-overs series against Pakistan. Since leading Australia to victory in the ODI World Cup final last year, Travis Head has had an extremely hectic schedule. He has participated in numerous competitions back-to-back and played in nearly every tour with the side. He will, however, take a brief pause because he now wants to spend time with his family. Head would like to spend some time with his wife and family because he is about to become a father again.

As reported by Cricket.com.au, Head stated, "My family and my teammates are probably what drive me to play, so in the future, I will definitely make decisions with them in mind." My career or personal matters are not topics I want to think about. My goals are to play with my teammates, enjoy what I'm doing, and maintain my family's happiness. In the past few years, he felt that he had done a good job at it. Playing cricket is still something he like doing, especially Test cricket. However… he think family is important too.

Head, 30, also acknowledged that his wife has difficulties caring for their kid, 2, at home when he is not there. Head stated, "The wife has a lot of responsibilities at home, and I have been gone from home a lot this year. It's crucial to make time for the family because the upcoming year will likewise have an extremely busy schedule (for Australia). This time will not be returned to us." The 30-year-old stated that he will keep up his training while spending time with his family. He might even play a Shield match or hit the nets prior to the India series or the Perth Test.
