Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 is one such quiz show which has entertained and educated the audience. In the game show, Amitabh Bachchan is often inquisitive in learning about contestants’ life and family. He too even shares anecdotes about his family. In the latest episode of KBC 14, senior Bachchan revealed how he manages to pacily his granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.
In the last episode, Amitabh Bachchan introduced the contestant Vaishnavi, who is a reporter to the audience. She told him that it was her wish to interview him. The contestant questioned him that, how he manages to spend time with his granddaughter Aaradhya since he is busy with work on so many films and shows.
The ‘Don’ actor responded, “Yes, I am not able to spend much time with her. I leave around 7-7:30 am, she leaves for school around 8 am. She returns after 3-4 pm and then she has homework and all to complete. Her mother (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) helps her with those. I return home around 10-11 pm. She is already asleep by then.”
Meanwhile, the ‘102 Not Out’ actor mentioned that as both of them have busy schedules they stay in touch via FaceTime. He further added that only on Sundays she is free so they play together.
The senior actor further said that he gives her chocolates if she is angry or upset. He was quoted saying, “When she gets angry or upset with me, I gift her chocolates.” And, what is it that women wear in their hair? Bands. Pink is her favourite colour, so I gift her pink hair bands and clips when she gets upset. She becomes happy then. ”
Talking about the show, Kaun Banega Crorepati has been hosted by Amitabh Bachchan since its inception in 2000. Shah Rukh Khan hosted only the third season in 2008. This time marking the 75th year of Independence a new slot of Rs 75 lakhs was introduced and even the price money was escalade to Rs 7.5 crores from Rs 7 Crores.
On the work front, the 79-year-old actor was last seen in Brahmastra. He has Goodbye with Rashmika Mandanna and Project K with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, and Uunchai with Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Pareneeti Chopra in the pipeline.
