Zuckerberg Told Himself Better Than Musk, Said - Handled Layoffs Well

Twitter and Facebook's parent company Meta has been in the news for laying off its employees. This has had a big impact on the employees of both companies working around the world. The layoffs on such a large scale seem to people to be a thoughtless step. Many people have shared how they got this shocking news. Some told that they were going on maternity leave in the middle of the night and some when they got this information.

What did Musk say?

But META chief Mark Zuckerberg believes he has handled the situation better than Elon Musk. At the company's town hall meeting on Friday, he said that there was no time to plan layoffs with Musk as thoughtfully as Meta and other companies had.

But Zuckerberg acknowledged that even if companies planned layoffs carefully, there would be no good answers. Meta announced earlier this week that it was laying off more than 11,000 Facebook employees. This included people from the research team focusing on WhatsApp, Instagram as well as the company's metaverse. Zuckerberg called the layoff the most difficult change he's made in the history of Meta.

Zuckerberg took responsibility for the company's decisions

Zuckerberg told the company's employees that they take responsibility for these decisions and the way they got here. He said that he knew that this is difficult for all people and he especially apologized to those who have been affected.

In November, Twitter has shown the way out of 50 percent of its staff. In the US alone, tech companies pulled out more than 50 thousand companies in October. Indian companies Byju's, Blinkit, and Unacademy have also not been behind in showing the way out to the employees. Well-known companies like tech company Intel, social media company Meta, and Shopify are included in this list.
