Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is launching on October 29
Xiaomi 15 series is being launched in China on 29 October. The company is bringing two models in the flagship series. Which are Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. They are being brought with many upgraded features as a successor to the Xiaomi 14 series. After the China launch, they will also be introduced in India and the global market.
The launch date of the Xiaomi 15 series has been confirmed by Xiaomi itself. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models will be launched in the Chinese market on October 29. This series will have major updated changes as compared to the previous series. First, these flagship phones will be launched in China then they will be introduced in India and the global market.
It is being said that Xiaomi 15 will come into India after increasing its price from its earlier model. Its price can rise by Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 as compared to the Xiaomi 14 series. Xiaomi 14 was launched in India for Rs 69,999, meaning the price of Xiaomi 15 can be between Rs 75,000 and Rs 80,000. The company can chase the previous pattern to launch it in India. The Xiaomi 15 series will follow here in March 2025. Its entry in India right after launching in China seems out of reach.
Global VP of Xiaomi has shared some pictures of the Xiaomi 15 with a display similar to the Xiaomi 14, complete with the square camera module, flat display, and thin bezels. It has been confirmed that a new color called Powder Blue will be launched in it. Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch flat AMOLED display offering a refresh rate of 120Hz, with LTPO technology inside for better power consumption. Under the hood, while Xiaomi 15 Pro should house a 6.78-inch quad-curved 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support, Dolby Vision, HDR10 +, and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut for a better viewing experience.
Both the smartphones can run Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for efficiency. In terms of gaming, it may have an Adreno GPU. In the case of RAM, the Pro model can offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. The base model should come with around 12GB of RAM. The Xiaomi 15 Pro will feature a 50MP Light Fusion 900 series main camera, a 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom along with macro ability, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. The Xiaomi 15 could sport a 50MP OV50H primary sensor, a telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom, along with an ultra-wide sensor. The front camera will boast 32MP capacity for selfies.
