Vivo will launch a new sub-brand 'Jovi'; Smartphones will be equipped with new innovations
Jovi smartphone: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is planning to launch a new sub-brand. According to the report, the company is bringing a new brand named Jovi. Under this, AI-equipped smartphones will be launched. In the initial days, the brand will work only in select countries. Some of the already existing series can be launched under the brand.
Several Chinese companies in India are selling smartphones and other devices under the main brand as well as sub-brands. Like Xiaomi has the popular Redmi, and Vivo has iQoo, so now another new sub-brand is going to be added to it. According to the report, Chinese company Vivo is planning to launch a new sub-brand.
It has been said that the sub-brand that Vivo is planning to launch will be named Jovi. This may be a familiar name for some people. Because Vivo is using this name for its AI assistant and other system apps. However, the latest report suggests that now Jovi is not going to be limited to just AI assistants. Rather, it will also launch as a company.
According to the report of Gsmarena, this information has been received from the records found in the GSMA database. These show three upcoming Vivo devices, which will use the Jovi brand. There is a GSM association. So far, details of Jovi V50 with model number V2427, Jovi V50 Lite 5G with model number V2440, and Jovi Y39 5G with model number V2444 have been found.
Interestingly, the model numbers of the Jovi V50 and the upcoming Vivo V50 are the same, while those of the Jovi V50 Lite 5G and Vivo V50 Lite 5G also match. It seems like Jovi will come into the market with a simple rebranding of the existing device. Later on, new phones will be launched under it.
It has also been told that Jovi will be launched in some selected countries only. It is noticeable that the company hasn't said anything about it exactly for now. In such a case, some things might have gone wrong in the news about the launching of a new sub-brand. Vivo recently launched two smartphones of its flagship Vivo X200 series in the Indian market. The first sales for these go live on December 13. In the first sale, you will get a chance to save on bank offers.
