Uno Minda Launches New Type-2 Home EV Charger in India, Priced at ₹32,514

The Indian market is showing continuous demand for electric vehicles. Many manufacturers are therefore launching different accessories for them. Recently, Uno Minda launched a home charger. Uno Minda has introduced a new home charger in the market. This charger is designed for all electric cars with Type-2 connectors.

According to the manufacturer, it features a Type-2 charger with an IP-65 rating, making it resistant to water and dust. Its body is made from IK-10 rated material. It offers multiple network communication options, including cellular networks, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The charger also features automatic cut-off and restart. Uno Minda's new home charger is offered with a 7.4 kWh capacity, offering single-phase fast charging output.

Anand Kumar, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Uno Minda, said that the Uno Minda Car EV Wall Charger is not just a handy tool; it is an essential part of India's transition to cleaner and smarter mobility. Precision-engineered, it delivers 7.4kW single-phase fast-charging output at 230V AC, ensuring fast and efficient energy transfer with improved thermal management.

This charger from Uno Minda is priced at ₹50,000. However, it is being offered at a discounted price of ₹32,514. It also comes with a one-year warranty. It can be purchased from various online platforms, including the market.
