Having won the U-19 World Cup 2026, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is only 14 years old, is ready to make a splash on the field. Vaibhav Suryavanshi may feature in the DY Patil T20 League, which is held in Navi Mumbai and is considered one of the toughest corporate T20 tournaments in the country, just a few weeks before the IPL season begins. According to a Cricbuzz report, sources close to the player and organizers have indicated that discussions are in the final stages, and Suryavanshi is highly likely to play in the tournament. The league features renowned international players and often features high-scoring matches. Last year, both Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya were seen playing in the tournament. Shivam Dubey, Nehal Wadhera, Deepak Chahar, and many other big names have also participated.
Suryavanshi comes into the tournament on the back of an impressive Under-19 World Cup. In the final, he scored 175 runs from 80 balls as India beat England by 100 runs. He received the Player of the Match and Player of the Series accolades. His fearless style has already been compared to some of the game's greats.
