Threads several upcoming features; Now you'll be able to schedule posts, and a lot more
Threads: The markup tool will initially be introduced only in select regions, after which it will be expanded globally. These new features come a month after Threads allowed images to be re-posted without coating.

Meta-owned social media platform Threads today announced three new features. Users can now schedule posts, see insights related to particular posts, and add some creative touch when re-posting or quote-sharing on the platform. While the post-scheduling and post-insights features are widely rolled out, the company said that the markup tool will only be rolled out in a few regions before being expanded globally. These new features come a month after Threads allowed images to be re-posted without coating.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced these features through a post. He said that these features, post scheduling, post insights, and markup, have been introduced to help users better manage their presence on the platform.
Post Scheduling Feature- Post scheduling was the most sought-after feature on Threads. Earlier, users had no option to publish posts at a future date or time, but now, Threads has solved this problem.
The option to schedule posts will be found in the three-dot menu on the top-right corner of the composer screen.
- Save in Drafts: The scheduled post will appear in the draft folder and can be edited or deleted before it is published.
- Maximum schedule time: Users can schedule their posts up to a maximum of 76 days (two months and 17 days) in advance.
The Post Insights feature will now be available to all Threads users. This feature is available on both mobile apps and web clients. Users can see views, interactions, and other metrics for each post. A new Insights icon has been added to the Profile tab.
