Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 27: Tembo Global Industries Ltd., a prominent player in the industrial sector, won a major contract worth ₹595 crores from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited. The Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) between the two parties pertains to solar photovoltaic power generating stations.
The contract will cater to Solar Photovoltaic Power Generating stations of an aggregate capacity of 124 MW(AC) under Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, a scheme launched for the implementation of feeder-level solarisation under component C of PM-KUSUM scheme. The contract is scheduled to start execution after the signing of the contract and will be completed in 18 months.
