However, several leaks on OnePlus phones have surfaced recently. In this particular series of leaks, the latest rumor concerns the OnePlus 16, which might become the company's future flagship phone. A tipster states that the OnePlus 16 is currently undergoing tests with a high refresh rate display, very thin bezels, and an innovative 200 megapixels periscope telephoto camera. Additionally, a unique AI button is rumored to come with the OnePlus 16.
According to one recent Weibo post published by a tipster known as Smart Pikachu and later removed, there will be some upgrades in the OnePlus 16, namely a 185 Hz display. While previous reports suggested that the phone could come with a refresh rate as high as 240Hz, the latest leak suggests a slightly lower figure.
But even at 185Hz, the OnePlus 16 could offer the highest refresh rate of any OnePlus phone to date. The flagship OnePlus 15 and several other new models come with 165Hz screens.
