Google has shipped nearly 40 million Pixel smartphones since 2016 and 10 million units in the last 12 months. The company recently launched the Pixel 8 series which has attracted the attention of millions of users globally including India.
According to Francisco Geronimo, vice president of global market research firm IDC, Google Pixel has shipped 37.9 million phones between 2016 and 2023. The sales figures come days after Google introduced its new Pixel 8 smartphones in several markets, including India.
Total sales have reportedly reached nearly 40 million units since its launch in 2016. Google was approaching the 30 million mark last year, with 27.6 million units sold just before the launch of the Pixel 7.
