Skoda Octavia RS will be launched in the Indian market soon. This has been confirmed by the company. The specific time schedule for its release is not revealed, but it can be launched in the festive time in the year 2025. This Skoda vehicle is equipped with numerous wonderful features, which also provide a sense of luxury to the populace.

Skoda Octavia RS is to be introduced in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). It is to be brought in limited units. It was showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, so it can be launched in the 2025 festive season. But as a CBU, the vehicle can be priced higher than Rs 50 lakh.

It features a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces a power of 265 hp, which is shared by the recently launched Volkswagen Golf GTI. Its powertrain delivers a thrilling and sporty driving experience.

Even though the news of the launch of Octavia RS is very good for the people, the launch of the rest of the company's vehicles has been postponed for the time being. This list includes Kodiaq RS, Superb, and even the regular Octavia. Skoda India Brand Director Ashish Gupta told about this while talking to Autocar. He said that these decisions have been postponed due to FTA (free trade agreement), new policies, and geopolitical uncertainties. He said, “There is uncertainty in the market due to FTA agreements, new policies and tariffs. Every strategy is risky due to many variables. We have a plan on which cars can be brought to India, but uncertainties are hampering decision-making.
