Skoda Kodiaq to be followed by RS version, may come to India as CBU; Know when it may be launched

Czech Republic automaker Skoda sells vehicles from sedan to SUV segment in India. Know which new SUV is the company preparing to bring to India and in which segment, with what kind of features and engine can it be brought. Also, read by when will the sporty version of the SUV be launched. 

Skoda is about to launch many cars in India this year. In this, the company is first launching Skoda Kodiaq in April 2025. Next, its more powerful version Skoda Kodiaq RS is also about to be officially launched. But the company has yet to officially announce it.

Skoda will equip a powerful engine in the Kodiaq RS. It will be equipped with a two-liter TSI Evo engine. Which will provide it with 265 horses and 400 Newton meter torque. It will also be equipped with a 7-speed DSG transmission. It will also be available with all-wheel drive. With this engine, it will be capable of accelerating the SUV from 0-100 km speed in 6.4 seconds. It will have a top speed of up to 231 kmph.

Skoda is launching a glossy black finish in the SUV. It is accompanied by many excellent features like a glossy black front grille, light bar, 20-inch alloy wheels, LED matrix beam headlights, sport seats, electrically adjustable front seats, sporty black interior, 10-inch digital instrument cluster, 13-inch infotainment screen, RS welcome logo, Canton sound, and paddle cover in stainless steel.

According to the information, the RS version of Skoda Kodiaq can be launched in India by October 2025 before the festive season. Initially, this SUV can be brought as a CBU. But later it can be manufactured in India itself.

Kodiaq RS will be brought by Skoda in the full-size SUV segment. In this segment, it will compete directly with Toyota Legender.
