The International Cricket Council has appointed the 'God of Cricket' as the global brand ambassador of the World Cup 2023. That means Sachin will once again be seen in a new role with the World Cup trophy. The World Cup is to start from October 5 on Indian soil.

ICC has made Sachin Tendulkar the brand ambassador of the World Cup 2023. Sachin will come to the field with the World Cup trophy before the opening match of the tournament between England and New Zealand. Master Blaster will inaugurate this mega event to be played on Indian soil after 12 years. Sachin participated in the World Cup six times during his international career. In the year 2011, Sachin was also a part of India's world champion team.

World Cup 2023 is to start from October 5. In the first match of the tournament, defending champion England will face New Zealand. In 2019, England won the World Cup title by defeating the Kiwi team. The Indian team will start its campaign against Australia on October 8.
