The second match of the three-match T20 series being played between India and South Africa was played at the St. George Park Stadium in Port Elizabeth. In this rain-affected match, South Africa performed brilliantly and defeated India by 5 wickets. With this defeat, India's hopes of winning the T20 series are over. The main reason for the defeat was the Indian bowlers.

The South African batsmen thrashed the Indian bowlers and achieved the target easily. During this, fast bowlers Mohammad Siraj and Arshdeep Singh gave away a lot of runs. Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh conceded 31 runs in his two overs and did not take any wickets. Arshdeep bowled the second over of the Indian innings and gave 24 runs in it. Reeza Hendricks and Matthew Breetz beat Arshdeep fiercely and put pressure on India.

Whereas Mohammad Siraj took one wicket for 27 runs in three overs. Siraj also gave 14 runs in his first over. Batting first, India scored 180 runs for seven wickets in 19.3 overs. Then it rained and the match could not go ahead.
