Reliance Industries’ Valuation Nears ₹19.2 Lakh Crore, Leads Weekly Market Gains

The market capitalization (Mcap) of seven of the nation's top 10 most valuable firms went up by Rs 2 lakh crore during the week. Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel set the trend. These firms were the gainers in the stock market rally. Last week, the BSE benchmark gained 1,451 points, or 1.75%.

Among the top 10 companies, Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Bajaj Finance, and Hindustan Unilever gained, while Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) saw their valuations decline. Reliance Industries' market valuation increased by ₹47,000 crore to ₹19.17 lakh crore, the highest among the top 10 companies. Bharti Airtel's market valuation increased by ₹41,000 crore to a total of ₹11 lakh crore.

ICICI Bank's market valuation increased by ₹40,123 crore to ₹10,26,491 crore, and HDFC Bank's by ₹33,185 crore to ₹15,40,210 crore. Bajaj Finance's valuation increased by ₹28,903 crore to ₹6,65,899 crore. Hindustan Unilever's market capitalization rose by ₹17,774 crore to ₹6,12,009 crore, and State Bank of India's market capitalization increased by ₹7,938 crore to ₹8,20,924 crore. However, Infosys' valuation fell by ₹30,306 crore to ₹5,98,773 crore. TCS's market capitalization fell by ₹23,807 crore to ₹10,71,894 crore, and LIC's market capitalization fell by ₹7,684 crore to ₹5,60,173 crore.
