Railways will launch a super app, from ticket booking to train status checking, all tasks will be done through a single app

Indian Railways is preparing to launch a super app. Many tasks can be done with this super app of Railways. It is being said that through the Railway's super app, many functions like ticket booking to tracking the train in real-time will be done in one app. According to the report, a total of Rs 90 crore will be spent on this app and it will take more than three years. Railway's super app will be prepared by CRIS which looks after the IT work for the Railways.
Currently, IRCTC Rail Connect is used for railway ticket booking. Currently, this is the only official app for ticket booking through phone. More than 100 million people are using this app.
Apart from this, there are also apps like Rail Madad, UTS, Satark, TMS-Nirikshan, IRCTC Air and PortRead which help railway passengers. Now Railways is preparing to include all these apps in a single app.
Let us tell you that earlier recently a report came in which it was said that Indian Railways has prepared 20,000 FogPASS devices to protect against fog, with the help of which the number of trains getting delayed due to fog in winter will reduce. Fogpass is a portable device which provides track information to the loco pilot even in severe fog conditions.
