Railways will give jobs to people on 58,642 vacant posts; Railway Minister told this plan to give jobs in Lok Sabha
Railways, Lok Sabha: In the Lok Sabha, the Railway Minister said that, during the Congress UPA government, 4,11,000 people got jobs in the railways, while in the Modi government, 5,02,000 youth have been recruited in the railways.
Indian Railways is committed to giving maximum opportunities to the youth in the railways to the central government. On Wednesday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the process of recruitment is going on for 58,642 vacant posts. Railway Minister Vaishnav said this while responding to the discussion in the House on the Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2024 in the Lok Sabha.
The Railway Minister in the Lok Sabha said that 4,11,000 people got jobs in the railways during the Congress UPA government, while 5,02,000 youth have been recruited in the railways in the Modi government. The process of recruitment for 58,642 vacant posts is going on in the railways. The railways under the Modi government at the center are committed to providing maximum opportunities to the youth.
Referring to the railway recruitment examinations being held across the country, the Railway Minister has stated that they are being conducted without a single complaint regarding a question paper leak. Recruitment is made according to an annual calendar as per demand laid down decades ago. He said that the budget of the railways, which used to be Rs 25-30 thousand crores before this government, has been increased to Rs 2.52 lakh crores under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
