'P&G India' CEO makes a big claim: India is progressing in the global supply chain

India's growth in the supply chain is getting better. According to a statement from Procter & Gamble India CEO Kumar Venkatasubramanian, India is an enhanced option for the most established supply chain, which not only makes the product available but also satisfies customers' expanding needs.

In the future supply chain, digital growth will play a significant role in defining it. It guarantees better data flow, forecasting, a smaller carbon footprint, and the finest service in addition to lowering expenses.

Venkatasubramanian said that the country's markets are changing, including digital transformation, and e-commerce, and firms like P&G are investing in creating a deep understanding of distinctive consumer behavior. "By learning and understanding our consumers, enabled by the power of digital transformation, we will be able to stimulate performance and achieve results. I think there has never been a bigger opportunity. The playing field has never been greener," he further added.

Since the majority of people in the country now have access to the Internet, knowledge and experiences have become more widely available. According to research, India's per capita income growth is predicted to be the highest in the world between 2024 and 2033—5.4 percent—because of the country's expanding urban population, rising income levels, increased product penetration brought about by technological advancements, and other macroeconomic factors, according to the CEO of Procter & Gamble India.
