Nissan operates in the SUV segment in the country. The company is expanding its lineup with the Nissan Gravite, and today, the MPV will be launched. The features the Nissan Gravite could offer, the performance its engine could deliver, and the price at which the Nissan Gravite could be launched will be discussed.

Nissan will introduce its new budget MPV, the Nissan Gravite, in India today. This will mark the company's entry into the MPV segment in India.

The company revealed some aspects of the design for this MPV in December 2025. However, details about the features and powertrains used in this MPV were not revealed. This MPV is based on the CMF A+ platform and hence suitable for the sub-four-meter category.

Nissan is expected to offer new LED DRLs, different bumpers, wheel designs, new color options, and a larger front grille in the Gravite MPV.

The manufacturer is expected to offer several impressive features in this MPV, including an 8-inch touchscreen, a digital driver's display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start/stop, rain-sensing wipers, a wireless charging pad, and a cooled glovebox.

Nissan is expected to offer a 1-liter turbocharged petrol engine in the Gravite MPV, which is also used in Renault Triber. This engine is expected to produce 72 horsepower and 96 Newton-meters of torque. It is also expected to be offered with a five-speed manual and five-speed AMT transmission options.

Pricing information will be available only after Nissan launches the Gravite MPV. However, it is expected to be priced around ₹6 lakh (ex-showroom).

The manufacturer's MPV will be positioned in the budget MPV segment, competing with rivals like the Renault Triber and Maruti Ertiga.
