2025 Kia EV6: Kia has launched its premium electric car 2025 Kia EV6 in India. The new 2025 Kia EV6 will now be available only in the GT Line AWD variant.

Kia has launched its luxury electric vehicle, the 2025 Kia EV6, in India for around Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom). The car, earlier, used to come in two variants - the GT Line and the GT Line AWD, priced around Rs 61 lakh and around Rs 66 lakh respectively. The new 2025 Kia EV6, however, will now come in the GT Line AWD variant alone.
Post-update, the design of the Kia EV6 has become more aggressive and sporty than its earlier iteration. Its headlamps have been redesigned with a new design, featuring LED DRLs and newly styled headlamps, inspired by the EV3 and EV4 concept cars.
Talking about the wheels of the car, it has 19-inch black-and-white alloy wheels, which make the car even more fashionable. Horizontal LED strip taillights have been given at the rear, making the outlook of the car even more dazzling.
The new Kia EV6 features Hyundai Motor Group's latest 84 kWh battery pack, replacing the older 77.4 kWh one. Despite the bigger battery, the range of the car has dropped to 663 km. The car has the support of 350 kW DC fast charging, with the ability to charge the car from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 18 minutes.
The power of the GT Line AWD variant has also increased more than before. Now it generates 320 bhp of power and 605 Nm of torque. Apart from this, Kia has further improved the suspension system so that the riding experience of the car is more comfortable. Also, the body structure has also been strengthened, making it safer than before.
Many major changes have also been made in the cabin of Kia EV6. Now it has a dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display, which includes the driver's digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can now be connected wirelessly. Apart from this, a fingerprint sensor has also been added to the two-spoke D-cut steering wheel, so that the driver can start the car without a key.
OTA (Over the Air) update facility has also been provided so that the navigation and electronic control system can be updated from time to time. Apart from this, new features like da igital rearview mirror, 12-inch heads-up display, and augmented reality navigation system have also been added to this car.
This car was recently introduced at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. In the Indian market, the Kia EV6 will compete with popular electric cars like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Sealion 7, BMW iX1, Mercedes-Benz EQA, and Volvo C40 Recharge.
