Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains in Chennai on Saturday. News agency PTI gave this information quoting Southern Railway.
The new trains will be operated from Dr. MGR Chennai Central to Nagercoil and Madurai to Bengaluru Cantonment. According to the official release of the Railways, Prime Minister Modi will join the program through video conferencing and flag off the train services.
The release said that the train to Nagercoil will be flagged off from Dr. MGR Chennai Central Station only on the inauguration day, but the regular service will be from Chennai Egmore. This train will run on all days except Wednesday.
