The Pani Puri vendor has gained the limelight due to offers, one being an offer of lifetime unlimited Pani Puri for Rs 99,000, while Rs 21,000 has also been offered as an award if one eats 151 Pani Puri together.

Vijay says that his offer will prove to be quite economical considering the rising inflation and people's annual expenditure on Pani Puri.
