Centre Allocates ₹95,692 Crore Under VB-G Ram Ji Yojana, Shivraj Singh Chouhan Assures States
VB-G Ram Ji Yojana: The Center has announced an interim allocation of ₹95,692 crore under the VB-G Ram Ji Yojana.
Interim allocation of ₹95,692 crore was made by the Centre on Tuesday for the VB-G Ram Ji Yojana. According to the Union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, no state will face any loss of financial resources.
He further stated that interim allocation was made since the rules pertaining to the new scheme were yet to be finalized. In addition, he made it clear that there would be no reduction in available works even for a single day.
According to a report by the Rural Development Ministry, the largest interim allocation among the states went to Uttar Pradesh, which received ₹9,721.48 crore. The state of West Bengal got ₹8,508 crore, while Tamil Nadu received ₹7,585.49 crore, and Rajasthan received ₹7,581.87 crore, Andhra Pradesh received ₹7,707.21 crore, and Bihar received ₹6,715.83 crore.
