MG Hector Gets Price Hike: SUV Now Costlier by Up to ₹30,000

MG Motors manufactures vehicles in many categories, and it has recently declared an increase in prices. Currently, the price of its mid-size SUV, MG Hector, has been revised. Here are the new price details. MG Hector falls into the mid-size SUV category and enjoys a price revision. This change comes into effect from today.

According to reports, the manufacturer has increased the price of this SUV by 20,000 to 30,000 rupees. The price of all variants of the Hector Plus has been increased by 20,000 rupees. While the price of its standard five-seater variants has been increased by up to ₹30,000, the price of its base variant has remained unchanged.

The manufacturer has priced the Hector's base variant at ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The top variant is priced at ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV's Plus variants are priced between ₹17.49 lakh and ₹19.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

The SUV features an Aura Hect front grille, new bumpers, and alloy wheels. Inside, the SUV boasts a dual-tone interior, complemented by Hydra Gloss finish accents. A 14-inch portrait infotainment system takes center stage, along with digital Bluetooth keys and remote AC control. The digital instrument cluster measures 17.78 cm, and a 360-degree camera provides a comprehensive view. LED lighting, ambient light, a PM 2.5 filter, rain-sensing wipers, and Level-2 ADAS are also included. Safety features encompass ABS, EBD, ESP, hill hold control, brake assist, and TCS. Plus, the vehicle offers over 70 connected features. The updated MG Hector comes in two new colors: Celadon Blue and Pearl White.

MG has provided this SUV with a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine produces 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Along with this, the option of CVT and manual transmission has also been given in this SUV.
