Maruti's first electric car Maruti eVitara spotted during testing, launching soon
Recently Maruti eVitara has been spotted during testing. After seeing this, the hope of its launch has increased soon. It can be launched in May 2025. It is going to come in the compact SUV segment. It will have many great features. It will be offered with two battery packs which will give a range of more than 500 km after charging.

Maruti Suzuki is launching its first electric car Maruti eVitara, in the Indian market. The company has also started its testing in India. At the same time, it is in the last stage of testing. According to media reports, it has recently been spotted with full camouflage during testing in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Maruti will launch its first electric vehicle in the compact SUV category. It will have sporty LED headlamps and, sturdy bumper. Its side view will feature generous cladding on the fenders, thickly mounted molding on the doors, and R18 aerodynamic alloys. Rear door handles are mounted on the C-pillar. In the rear, the tail lamp is incorporated along with the headlamp.
It will have a dual-tone interior and dashboard, vertically placed ventilation vents, a floating center console, and multi-color ambiance lighting. It will have features such as a fixed sunroof, a touchscreen infotainment of 10.1 inches, a multi-information display of 10.25 inches, and wireless charging will be included in the Maruti eVitara.
Maruti eVitara will also get safety features like 7-airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, TPMS and an electronic parking brake with brake hold function. It will also get front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree view camera. Also, ADAS Level 2 feature, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and high beam system will also be available.
It will be offered with two battery packs: 49 kWh and 61 kWh. It will be offered with both 2WD and AWD formats. Its battery will give a range of up to 500 km once fully charged. Its maximum speed will be 150-160 km/h.
The testing of the Maruti eVitara is in the final stage. It can be launched in India in May 2025. Its price in the Indian market can be in the range of Rs 17 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. In India, it will compete with Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curve EV, MG ZS EV and Mahindra BE 6.
