Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall to replace the kingpin assembly in the front axle of Jimny. Maruti Suzuki has found out the cause after several complaints about vibrations while braking. It would replace this faulty part without any cost. Now, it is assumed that Maruti Suzuki will contact customers over replacements. If that doesn't happen, then customers are advised to contact Maruti Suzuki themselves.

According to the complaints received by Maruti Suzuki, vibration is felt from the front when braking at a speed of 80 kmph. That is felt through the steering wheel. The vibration disappears after the vehicle speed comes to 60 kmph. There is no such vibration below 60 kmph.

After several years of speculation, Maruti Suzuki Jimny was launched in India. This SUV from Maruti competes with the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha. And it is definitely reckoned as an all-rounded off-roader.  The Maruti Suzuki Jimny gets one petrol engine-1.5 litres. It gets the option for both manual and automatic gears. This SUV generates a power of 102 bhp.
