Mahindra achieved 40 percent growth in February 2024, SUVs like Scorpio N and Thar increased sales

The country's popular car manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra is known for its SUVs. The company registered a growth of 40 per cent in February 2024 compared to last year. Mahindra sold 42,401 units of utility vehicles last month, including its flagship SUV.

The carmaker announced that its total sales in February also increased by 24 per cent to 72,923 units. In February, Mahindra & Mahindra sold 30,358 SUVs across India. Recently, the carmaker retained the crown of India's largest SUV maker. Mahindra's sales have increased in recent months on the back of its flagship SUV Scorpio, available in Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic avatars.

Mahindra has recently launched new variants of Scorpio-N and Thar. Thar Earth Edition has been introduced by the company with the Scorpio NZ8S variant. Apart from this, Mahindra Bolero is also one of the most popular models of the carmaker with over 11,000 bookings every month along with Bolero and Bolero Neo SUVs. The XUV300 and XUV400 electric SUVs also get around 9,0000 bookings every month. On the other hand, the XUV700 SUV gets around 7,000 bookings every month.

Mahindra is preparing to expand its electric vehicle lineup as well as launch the 5-door Thar SUV later this year. The carmaker has already confirmed that the larger Thar SUV, which will be sold alongside the existing three-door version, will hit the roads by the middle of this year.
