The Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X are being manufactured by Bajaj Auto at the Chakan plant. The Scrambler 400X is priced slightly higher than the Speed 400, as it is the more capable motorcycle of the two. Scrambler 400X is being sold at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.63 lakh. The new 400cc cafe racer motorcycle is expected to be the next motorcycle to come from this new platform.

The Scrambler 400X and Speed 400 use the same TR-series engine. It is a 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which uses fuel injection and ride-by-wire throttle. This engine produces 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque output of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip-and-assist clutch.

Let us tell you that this bike comes with an analogue speedometer, which is combined with a digital screen. These screens can show various information. Additionally, the motorcycle features switchable traction control, all LED lighting and an immobilizer on the Scrambler 400X.
