Kia Carens facelift spotted in the mountains during testing may be launched by the end of the year with these changes

So there will be a new set of headlamps at the front. Although the interior details are not yet clear, the facelifted Carens is expected to retain the layout of the current model. Recently the Carens facelift was spotted at Sisu, where the manufacturer is possibly doing its high-altitude testing before launching the vehicle. The updated Carens will come with some significant changes in the exterior. As a result, the front will feature a new pair of headlamps that are very similar to those found on the recently debuted EV3. Kia will be employing LED units for this. There will be new alloy wheels on the sides. There will be new LED taillights in the back. Both the front and rear bumpers are slated to be updated.
While interior specifics are still unknown, the facelifted Carens is expected to keep the present model's layout, which includes 6 and 7-seat variants. However, feature improvements, as well as the introduction of new fabrics and materials for the dashboard and upholstery, are intended to improve the cabin's comfort and appeal.
Under the hood, the Carens facelift is expected to continue to offer the current engine lineup. This includes a 113 bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine; a 158 bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 113 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Also, the naturally aspirated petrol engine comes with a standard manual gearbox, while the turbo-petrol unit offers 6-speed iMT and 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox options. The diesel variant offers three transmission options. These include manual, iMT, and 6-speed torque converter automatic.
