Jadeja scored 86 runs and shared a 199-run seventh-wicket partnership with Ashwin. After this, Taskin dismissed Akash Deep. Akash scored 17 runs and shared a 24-run eighth-wicket partnership with Ashwin. Then, Taskin got Ashwin caught by Shanto. He scored 113 runs. This was his sixth century in Tests.

Bumrah became the victim of Hasan Mahmud after he scored seven runs. Hasan has so far taken four wickets on Thursday and with Bumrah's wicket, he completed a five-wicket haul.
