India Post Launches ₹5,800-Crore Advanced Postal Technology for Real-Time Tracking, UPI Payments & Faster Services
APT: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia wrote on social media on Tuesday, I am very happy to launch Advanced Postal Technology nationwide on behalf of India Post. This is a historic step in India's digital journey. With an investment of Rs 5,800 crore, APT will transform India Post into a world-class public logistics organization.
Now, postal services will be faster. India Post has launched Advanced Postal Technology (APT) worth Rs 5,800 crore across the country. The new technology will enable real-time tracking of parcels and letters. With this, people will be able to make UPI payments from any bank.

Scindia further wrote, APT is a completely indigenous platform, which is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Digital India and Make in India. He said that the new technology will make it easier to take real-time decisions, the reach of e-commerce will increase, automation will reduce operational costs and citizens will be able to get services anywhere and anytime.
