IND vs ENG: Big blow to Ben Stokes, this player suddenly returned to England, will not play the first test

The England team is going to play a five-Test series hosted by India. The first match of this series will be played tomorrow 25th of January at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, but before that, the England team suffered a big setback. A young spinner of Pakistani origin Shoaib Bashir has been ruled out of the first test. England team captain Ben Stokes says that Bashir had to return home after missing the first Test due to visa problems. There is still doubt whether Bashir will play in the remaining four tests of the series or not.

Ben Stokes, the captain of England, has expressed his anger over this incident. Because 20-year-old Shoaib Bashir was scheduled to make his debut against India in the first test, his dream of making his debut will not come true because of visa issues. Before this, Usman Khawaja and Rehan Ahmed, who are Pakistani nationals, encountered issues obtaining visas for the World Cup.

The absence of Shoaib Bashir could make the English team's issues worse. Bashir recently gave an outstanding performance for the England Lions. He was then granted a spot in the England national team. Bashir could have proved to be the trump card of the English team on Indian pitches which are helpful for spinners, but due to a visa problem, he will have to wait for his debut against India.

On Shoaib Bashir being out, Ben Stokes said, 'Obviously this is not good. I can understand very well what this young player must be going through. These things have a very bad effect on the players. Due to all these things your performance also deteriorates. I am feeling quite bad. This is a very bad situation for a young player.
