According to the company, the electric car can run for 400 km after a mere 5 minutes of charging. This means that if the statement is correct, the electric car can be charged within the same time as a gasoline-powered car.
The company's new system utilizes a tremendous amount of electrical power, allowing the car to charge instantly. This new BYD system supports a whopping 100kW of power and a current of 1000A. Simply put, it's many times more powerful than any standard charger.
