Andhra Pradesh Additional Chief Electoral Officer MN Harendheera Prasad said that the Commission has removed Andhra Pradesh DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy and appointed Harish Kumar Gupta as the new Director General of Police. The Commission directed Gupta, a 1992 batch IPS officer, to assume charge immediately and submit a compliance report in this regard.
