EICMA 2024: Royal Enfield Classic 650 launched; New advanced features including retro-roadster look
EICMA 2024: The EICMA 2024 program is going on in Milan, Italy. Here the company has introduced the new Royal Enfield Classic 650. The design of this bike is largely similar to the smaller Classic 350. It can be launched at the Motorverse event in Goa in November 2024. The bike is equipped with many great features.
The new Royal Enfield bike will be launched at EICMA 2024. The company has released two bikes at this point. At the same time, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 was introduced by the company. This bike has been expected for a very long time. It has been introduced in four different dual-tone paint schemes. Let's know what great features it has come with.
The all-new Royal Enfield Classic 650 has a retro-roadster design. It is similar to the smaller Royal Enfield Classic 350. The bike has a similar round LED headlight, chrome headlight ring, round indicators, mirrors, fenders, fork covers, and a tear drop-shaped fuel tank. The fuel tank has a 2D Royal Enfield logo, but a funky logo in Vallam Red handwriting font.
The side panel of the Classic 650, tail section, and spoke wheel also come similar to the 350cc roadster. The new Classic 650 comes with a dual peashooter exhaust. It has been brought in four color options Black Chrome, Blunted Thorpe Blue, Vallam Red, and Teal.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 draws power from a 647.95cc, air and oil-cooled parallel-twin engine. It develops 47.6PS of power and 52.3Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Classic 650 has a semi-digital instrument console that gives the rider other information including the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge. It has a navigation tripper pod that offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for turn-by-turn navigation. There is also a USB charging port. It has a similar type of steel tubular frame to the Super Meteor 650. It has an Upside-down Telescopic fork with a fork cover and Twin Shocks at the rear.
Spoke wheel with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear, the new Classic 650 features a 320mm disc at the front along with a 300mm disc brake at the rear. It also has a dual-channel ABS system. A 14.3-liter fuel tank is hosted inside the Classic 650.
A launch of the Royal Enfield Classic 650 in India could also happen at the Royal Enfield's Motoverse motorcycle festival to be held in Goa in November 2024. Prices can be placed at Rs 3.20 lakh ex-showroom. In the Indian market, it will go up against other 650cc roadsters like the BSA Gold Star 650 and Kawasaki Z650RS.
