Djokovic is about to become the oldest number 1 player in ATP ranking history

By the end of this week, 36-year-old Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic will surpass Swiss great Roger Federer's record as the oldest No. 1 in the history of the ATP ranking. Federer is currently 361 days old. Among the tennis industry's legends is Novak Djokovic. Overtaking Steffi Graf's record of 377 weeks, Djokovic set a new record in February of last year for the most weeks a male or female tennis player has been ranked No. 1 in the world.
Djokovic first became world No. 1 on 4 July 2011 at the age of 24. Whereas Federer and Rafael Nadal reached number 1 for the first time at the age of 22. Nearly 13 years after becoming world No. 1 for the first time, Djokovic has spent a large part of his career at the top performing at his best.
On the ATP Tour on Monday, 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic kept setting new records. Starting the week ranked 419th in the world. which puts him 109 weeks ahead of Federer, who is currently ranked second (310 weeks). The Serbian has won 31 tour-level titles since turning 30 on May 22, 2017, including two of his seven Nitto ATP Finals trophies, ten of his forty ATP Masters 1000 titles, and twelve of his 24 Grand Slam titles.
