Delivery of Ola S1 Pro Gen2 electric scooter started in the Indian market, price starts from Rs 1.48 lakh

Ola Electric has announced the delivery of the S1 Pro Gen2 electric scooter in the Indian market. For your information, Ola S1 Gen 2 was launched in August this year for Rs 1.48 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It includes an updated chassis, revised motor, and battery pack as well as new technology. On this, the vehicle manufacturing company says that the delivery of S1 Pro Gen2 has started in more than 100 cities and more will be coming to the market soon.

Ola Electric has begun deliveries of the Gen2 S1 Pro in 100 markets with more deliveries to follow soon. Upgrades to this scooter include a frame that has a flat floorboard. The e-scooter also gets telescopic front forks instead of the mono-shock unit seen on the Gen1 model. Its mid-drive motor is now more powerful at 11 kW (14.7 bhp) and gives a range of 120 kmph. This e-scooter accelerates from 0 to 40 km per hour in 2.6 seconds.

The Gen2 Ola S1 Pro is based on a massively redesigned platform with a new and more powerful electric motor and battery pack. Compared to the Gen1 model, the new Ola S1 Pro Gen2 is approximately 6 kg lighter and has a stronger battery pack. Apart from this, if you charge this scooter once, it will give a range of 195 km.

The new S1 Pro also gets redesigned alloy wheels and a utilitarian single-piece grab rail, while boot space has been reduced by 2 liters and now stands at 34 liters. The e-scooter comes in five colors – Jet Black, Matte White, Stellar, Midnight Blue, and Amethyst.
