Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Italy and France from October 9 to 12. In Paris, Singh will participate in the fifth annual India-France Defense Dialogue with French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu. India and France recently completed 25 years of strategic partnership. The two countries have deep and extensive bilateral defense relations, including significant industrial cooperation.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will begin a four-day visit to Italy and France on Monday to enhance bilateral strategic partnership and explore industrial cooperation for joint development of military equipment.
In this regard, the Defense Ministry said that in the first phase of the visit between the two countries, Singh will go to Rome, where he will discuss with Italy's Defense Minister Guido Crisetto. The strategic partnership between the two countries was strengthened during the visit of the Italian Prime Minister to India in March.
