Placidius is a peaceful kingdom ruled by a perfect family—it is a fantasy land. However, all hope seems lost when the kingdom is attacked by the Dark Kingdoms in the middle of the night, and noble King Haldor must change into a valiant one to restore justice. The brave Princess Phade must step up to the place to defend her people, while King Morwag of Arkèzia is kidnapped. This saga is masterfully written and will transport readers to the peaceful world of Cancatia, which is made up of eleven kingdoms: Placidius, Lètindum, Arkèzia, Glonovia, Callista, Ritundel, Zukezia, Denka, Aènd, Mysira, and Xicarea.
 
 David Baker is a first-time author who has been recognized for his writing and oratory skills since he was a young boy. He began working on the book in January 2021. “I have a strong interest in global history, culture, and mythology. My fascination with fiction, especially fantasy, and adventure, began when I was a young child, and it was this that inspired me to write down my original ideas,” the author says.
