Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), in a statement, has refuted the accusations regarding the arrival of a Russian oil shipment at its Jamnagar refinery, claiming that these are "completely false" in nature, damaging to the reputation of its company, RIL. RIL, while referring to a Bloomberg News report, stated that no shipments of Russian oil have so far arrived at its Jamnagar refinery in the last three weeks, nor are they expected to arrive in January.

In a statement released on the social media platform X on Tuesday, Reliance Industries said that a Bloomberg report claiming that three ships carrying Russian oil were heading to Reliance's Jamnagar refinery was false. The company categorically rejected claims of Russian oil arriving at the Jamnagar refinery, saying such reports were "completely false" and damaging to the company's image.

Reliance also expressed displeasure over the alleged disclaimer issued by the company before the report was published. RIL said in its statement, "A report published in Bloomberg claiming that three ships carrying Russian oil were heading to Reliance Industries' Jamnagar refinery is completely untrue. Reliance's Jamnagar refinery has not received any cargo of Russian oil in the last nearly three weeks, and no Russian crude oil is expected to be delivered in January."
