PSU Banks: Government approves appointment of 12 executive directors for public sector banks
PSU Banks: The Central Government has approved the appointment of 12 executive directors in various public sector banks. According to the information, the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of executive directors on October 7 (Saturday). In a government order, Bank of Maharashtra General Manager Sanjay Rudra has been appointed as ED of Union Bank of India.

At the same time, Vijaykumar N Kamble, another GM of the Bank of Maharashtra, will take over as ED of UCO Bank. Apart from this, sources said that Bhavendra Kumar, who is currently the Chief General Manager of Canara Bank, has been made the ED of the same bank.
Union Bank of India Chief General Manager Lal Singh has been made the Executive Director of Bank of Baroda for three years. At the same time, the Chief General Manager of Punjab National Bank, Vibhu Prasad Mahapatra has been promoted to ED of the bank. Additionally, General Manager Ravi Mehra has been promoted to ED, Punjab & Sind Bank.
