Nandan Nilekani to Head Centre's High-Powered Task Force for Exam Reforms, PM Modi Announces
The Modi government has formed a high-level task force to reform the examination system, chaired by Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani. This task force will present recommendations to make the examination system more reliable, transparent, and technology-based.
The Modi government has taken a major decision. This decision pertains to the education reform task force. A task force is headed by the billionaire who established Infosys, India's second-large corporation, with a total wealth of 422,353 crore. Nandan Nilekani is the individual in question. Modi government has named him as the chairman of a task force to reform the examination system.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi personally announced this. The task force will suggest changes to improve India's examination system by promoting transparency, reliability, and technology utilization.
Releasing a video, the Prime Minister said, "We must focus on the future. Our examination system must be reliable and transparent, and must make maximum use of technology. Keeping all these things in mind, we have decided to form a high-powered task force headed by world-renowned technology expert Nandan Nilekani. This task force will focus on examination reforms, and based on its report, steps will be taken to ensure the credibility of upcoming examinations as soon as possible."
