BSNL's 'Freedom Plan' launched: BSNL has launched the 'Freedom Plan' to make the celebration of Independence special, in which users are getting 4G service for a full 30 days for just Rs 1. Let's know about this offer in detail.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come up with an excellent offer for subscribers. The company has released the 'Freedom Plan', which offers 30 days of 4G service at Rs 1, which is to be availed for a short time. The special offer has been launched as part of the 77th Independence Day celebration of the nation.
BSNL has recently finished setting up its domestic 4G network in the country. As per this offer, clients will also receive unlimited calling within the local and STD area, 2GB daily high-speed data, 100 SMS/day, and a complimentary BSNL SIM.
BSNL is establishing 1 lakh 4G sites in the country. This network has been established with Make in India technology, which is a giant leap towards the establishment of Digital India.
Currently, BSNL's competitors like Jio, Airtel, and Vi are offering similar plans for Rs 349, 379, and 399. However, BSNL's plan is the cheapest, and this facility is being offered for just Rs 1 for a month.
It is worth noting that while private telecom companies are providing 5G services and OTT apps, BSNL is currently providing only 4G service.
This step has been taken at a time when recently Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given BSNL the target of increasing the mobile service business by 50% in the next one year. Along with this, all units have also been instructed to increase the enterprise business by 25-30% and the fixed line business by 15-20%.
